Like you, I have for many years donated to charity and sponsored family, friends and business colleagues as they have taken part in charitable events. This time I am actually doing something myself.
My wife and I are taking part in the inaugural Pets As Therapy Sponsored Dog Walk taking place across the UK on Saturday 14th April 2018. I don’t believe it either. We don’t even have a dog but we know what a positive therapeutic effect a visit from this little known charity can have on patients in Mental Health wards. Including a close family member of ours.
This is why we shall be walking in the Harrogate leg. There’s a pun there if you want it.
