Harrogate based Terry Ryan was the guest speaker on April 14th at the ladies section lunch to celebrate Wetherby Golf Clubs 100th anniversary. The centennial lunch was organised by Jean Thornton who said “I have so much positive feedback from everyone both on the day and subsequently with phone calls and cards everyone enjoyed it”.
Terry spoke about some of his experiences dealing with Buckingham Palace, Sir Cliff Richard and Geoff Hamilton. He said afterwards “I know how important this was to the Ladies because it was their main social event to celebrate 100 years of golf at Wetherby and I was delighted with their reaction because they are such a discerning group of people”
